Promotion

Page 70 (Advertising by Design: Generating and designing creative ideas across media.) In my opinion helping the consumer make the decision into buying the car is the most important thing in mind. Making the best experience into purchasing the car; so when they walk in it doesn't even feel like their going in to purchase the car. In other words make them feel 100% wanted when they step foot into the dealership. This is the exact reason why i chose to keep the creative content as simple as possible. To show off the car to make the consumer visualize that they could afford the car that is the top of the line. "Visual metaphors can invite the reader to work a little bit, to interact with the ad; the reader is engaged by thinking. If the visual metaphor is interesting, on strategy, and accessible (but not clichéd), the reader is more likely to notice the ad, be engaged, and interact." Page 81 (Advertising by Design: Generating and designing creative ideas across media.). I would like to provide monthly specials such as a buy 1 get the second half off kind of deal. Also maybe a commercial showing off the new car models, colors, accessories, and dropped prices. I believe that having specials like those will keep the consumer more engaged in the car dealership, it shows that we care as a car company to give back to the people who support.
